Small Business Alliance presents Financial Summit

GMSDC partners to host the 4th annual event at the Federal Reserve

Small Business Alliance presents 2018 Financial Summit
GMSDC partners with Alliance to host the 4th annual event at the Federal Reserve

ATLANTA, GA February 13, 2018 – The small business community in Georgia will come together on February 21st at the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank for the annual Financial Summit – Access to Capital. This will be the 4th edition of this event with small business advocates, lenders, business owners and financial experts for a full day devoted to the issues and obstacles small business must navigate to acquire capital. The Summit is hosted annually by the consortium with one central focus – How does a small business secure the capital necessary to grow profitably? The Midtown headquarters of the Atlanta Federal Reserve will once again be the venue for the Summit.

Funding, often the difference between success and failure for small businesses, is a complex matrix of overlapping considerations that can paralyze a business owner…the Financial Summit seeks to simplify that process. The Small Business Alliance is comprised of Georgia’s leading small business development and advocacy organizations, including the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, The US Small Business Administration, the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Federal Reserve, the Atlanta Business League, the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs and the Greater Women’s Business Council.

The Summit is a full day of informative and interactive sessions presented by banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders, in addition to finance experts from all across the business spectrum. The topics on the agenda include lending sources, business credit, venture capital, angel investment, crowd funding, cash flow management, qualifying standards and more.  Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the different options and walk away with a better understanding of what source of capital meets their business needs and contact to secure that capital.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. There will be no onsite registration on the day of the event. Please register in advance at www.gmsdc.org.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the 9:00am to 2:00pm event. To register or for more information, visit www.gmsdc.org.
